WELCOME TO VALENTINE PTA!

The Valentine PTA is dedicated to enriching every student’s journey through essential programs, library resources, instructional aides, technology, and memorable classroom events.

When you join PTA, you do more than support our school, you build lasting friendships and help guide our students toward bright futures. Parents, grandparents, and community members are all invited to lend their big hearts and unique talents.

We promise that your time with the PTA will be both rewarding and fun. The more you engage with our Viking community, the more rewarding the journey becomes for you and your entire family.

Please join the PTA and consider volunteering. Together, we will foster big hearts, build bold Viking leaders, and make an enduring impact on every child!

VALENTINE PTA IN THE SCHOOL

ART – In the fall, students have the opportunity to participate in the National PTA Reflections art program.

MUSIC – Students participate in a school wide music program and perform in the annual Winter, Spring, and May Day Program.

STEM – Each class receives STEM lessons (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).

TECHNOLOGY - Valentine PTA funds classroom technology equipment for our students and teachers, which includes iPads, Chromebooks, and MacBooks.

LIBRARY – Classes regularly attend the library and students can visit during recess and lunch on scheduled open library days.  Valentine PTA funds classroom subscriptions, new library books and magazines.

CLASSROOM SUPPORT – Valentine PTA funds a Teacher Wish List with monies collected through the First Day Packet Online Registration.  These monies are divided among the classrooms for educational supplies.  Other classroom support funded by PTA includes classroom subscriptions, 5th grade trophies, computers, and P.E. equipment.  Room parents also support teachers with many activities throughout the year.
