Report an Absence

To report an absence, please call the Valentine Student Absence Line (626) 299-7090 - Option 1 before 9:00 AM and leave a message each day that your child is absent or will be arriving late. Please leave a detailed message containing your name, your child's name, the teacher's name, the date(s) of absence, and the reason for absence. 

You may also email Reyna Hernandez at [email protected]. Please send a note with your child on the first day he/she returns to school with the reason for your child's absence. School personnel will determine whether the absence will be excused. A parent note does not automatically excuse an absence. The student must provide a medical note after five consecutive days of absence due to illness.
