2nd Grade - Room 5 - Homework Assignments

This is our last homework assignment of the year! No homework or spelling the week of 5/29/17.

The week of May 29, there will be no homework or spelling assignments. Monday, May 29 is a holiday; no school!  Last day of school is June 1, dismissal is at 12:00 noon. Thank you to all who have turned in their $5 donation for the Pizza Lunch held on the last day of school from 11 am - 12 noon in the Valentine lunch court.

Next Thursday, May 4, is the 2nd grade music performance day. Mrs. Abughazaleh's and Mrs. Duncan's classes will perform from 12:30 - 1:30 pm. Mrs. Mau's and Ms. Shui's classes will perform from 1:45 - 2:30 pm. Both performances will be held in the Valentine Little Theatre. 

For this week's sharing assignment, you will be doing a book report on a folk tale. Remember a folk tale is a story that has been told for many years. The tale tells about events that could not happen in real life. It also may explain why something is the way it is and finally, the characters in the tale often learn a lesson.

Chance to have your Sharing assignment published in the SM Tribune! Complete your sharing and return it to your teacher on Monday, 4-17 for a chance to have it published in the paper!
