If you know any prospective families, please let them know about the following information on registering their new students.
Kindergarten and First Grade Registration for the 2013-2014 school year will take place on Thursday, April 11, 2013, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon, in the District Office Boardroom. If you are unable to register on this date, there will be future registration dates for all grades on: Thursday, May 16, 2013, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM; Thursday, June 20, 2013, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon; and Thursday, July 18, 2013, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM - all in the District Office Boardroom.
There will be "last-chance" walk-in registration Monday through Thursday, July 29 through August 1, and August 5 through August 8, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon in the District Office. Please be advised that the deadline to guarantee first day start is August 8, 2013. After August 8, registration is by appointment only and we cannot guarantee a first day start.
All registration forms are available on the District Website www.smusd.us under Parents and Students then Enrollment & Registration. Please follow directions carefully and bring copies of all required documents.
The first day of school for the 2013-2014 school year is Wednesday, August 21, 2013. This will be a Minimum Day for all students Grades K - 5, 8:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.
