It's Time to Start Thinking About the Science Fair!
Mark your calendars and start brainstorming, the Science Fair for a Better Planet is scheduled for January 29 & 30 in the Little Theater. This year we will be awarding many new categories including a student's choice award. We are also excited to announce that each winner will win a tour of Jet Propulsion Laboratory(JPL). We are looking forward to sharing in the excitement and discovery as our students seek answers to questions and experience the joy of learning new things. Creative thinking and problem solving continue to be an emphasis at Valentine, and we encourage all students to participate in this event. The Science fair is a hands on opportunity for our young students to build upon their curiosity and gain a deeper understanding of a topic of interest.
We welcome you to participate in either advisory session which will be held on:
Monday, December 17, 2012 from 11:45am to 12:45 pm and
Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in the Little Theater
Stop by if you wish to discuss your topic with a science advisor or to purchase a display board.
